ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Basic training with the Canadian Reserves, entering a monastery, and sleeping on the sides of roads while hitch-hiking through Europe was the life of Baron Deschauer shortly after leaving high school. Sanity, university, and the need to earn a living earned him a B.Ed., BA, and LLB before embarking on an entrepreneurial life in London, England. He is able to order food, look for a toilet, and find directions in German, Mandarin, French, and Hebrew. As Clint Eastwood said, a man should know his limitations. After watching the movie, Baron now only writes in English.
In his quest to better understand the world around him, he has written a number of books exploring existence (Revelation and Faust), capital (Art of Wealth) and the complex interplay of will, luck, fate, and hope (the Man on the Run series). His most recent book, Concentration Camps of Canada, is described by Kirkus Reviews as: “A sensitive, well-told story of one life ruined by the racism of involuntary assimilation.” He is married and lives in the Channel Islands. |
